Trim 'n' Shape Hair and Beauty Salon provide the Hair, Nails and Beauty needs of clients from the Western Hills of Lower Hutt and the wider Hutt Valley. We have a team of 3 full time hairdressers, plus a top nail technician and skin consultants. We cater for men as well as women, young and old, from Buzzcuts to Broadway!

Trim 'n' Shape have been in Maungaraki for about 35 years now. We started out at the south end of the shops where the chineese restaurant is now (you entered through the right door - there use to be a wall there) then about 25 years ago the salon moved to the upstairs of Hammer Hardware which is now 1st Edition Publishers. In April 2009 we moved to a new location two doors away and on a ground floor, which is much more modern and has given us more light and easier access for our clients. So if you haven't been along for a while, why not pop back for a look at our great new premises?

The Maungaraki Shops on Dowse Drive provide ample free parking, and a one stop shop for many of your needs on a morning out - fantastic harbour views, coffee at Benedict's Cafe, a nice playground for the kiddies, a Four Square, Pharmacy and much more.
